Manage and subscribe to newsletters in Microsoft Engage Center

Microsoft Engage Center provides a centralized way for administrators to manage newsletter distribution and for users to subscribe to newsletters relevant to their role, language, and interests.

This article walks through:

  • Setting a preferred email address (required)
  • The user experience for discovering and subscribing to newsletters
  • The administrator experience for enabling and disabling newsletters

User Experience

Set and verify your preferred email address

All users must complete this step before receiving newsletter communications.

Set your preferred email

  1. In Microsoft Engage Center, open My Profile.
  2. Specify the email address you want to use for newsletter communications.
  3. Save your changes.

Verify your email address

After saving your preferred email, a verification email is sent to that email address.

  • Newsletter delivery is paused until verification is complete.
  • Follow the instructions in the verification email to confirm your address.

Subscribe to newsletters

Users can browse available newsletters and manage their own subscriptions in the Newsletter Subscription page.

  1. Sign in to Microsoft Engage Center.
  2. Select the Newsletter blade.

View more subscriptions

Select More subscriptions to browse the full list of newsletters available to you.

Filter newsletters

Use filters to refine the list, such as filtering by language or topic.

For example, you can filter the list to show only English-language newsletters.

Subscribe to a newsletter

  1. Review the list of available newsletters.
  2. Select Subscribe next to the newsletters you want to receive.

Review your subscribed newsletters

After selecting subscriptions, your chosen newsletters appear in your subscribed list.

Administrator experience

Manage newsletter availability

Administrators determine if the Newsletter feature is active in the workspace.

  1. Sign in to Microsoft Engage Center.
  2. Navigate to Settings.
  3. Select Newsletter settings.

See all newsletters here. To subscribe, follow the steps in the User Experience section.

Filter newsletters

Use filters to narrow the list of newsletters to quickly locate specific entries.

Disable newsletter distribution

Important

Please proceed carefully, as many subscribers may be actively benefiting from these assets. Administrators can prevent users from subscribing to a newsletter by disabling the service in the Settings page.

  1. Select the newsletter from the list.
  2. Choose Disable distribution.

Enable newsletter distribution

To make newsletters available to users in this workspace:

  1. Select the newsletter from the list.
  2. Choose Enable distribution.
  3. Confirm the action to complete the change.

Once enabled, users can discover and subscribe to newsletters from the Newsletter blade.
